It has been a very busy 3 months since I received settlement with the intense first month of renovations and moving in and then just figuring out how to manage myself and my finances. I’ve finally a spare few moments this morning to get all of these photographs sorted. The biggest renovation part was in fact putting in the door to the “dungeon” for accessibility and to reduce the stuffiness of it all. Floorboards also went in after the removal of the tiles in the kitchen. That was a huge, and loud, job. When I get some more time, I’ll write up about the bike stand and the speaker stands which was my weekend job this week. There’ll be a few before and after photos below and others just showing the messy rooms.

So it has been nearly a couple months since I was last here and its been a really long couple months. Renovations are finished (except for a few niggly bits which I have procrastinated in doing over the last 2 months), I’ve moved in, everything is pretty much setup and I’m cooking and cleaning! Work has been keeping me busy, but not as much as adjusting to living on my own and attempting (and forgetting) to live under a budget. The bills are the worst. Photos still to come…
