Exams, exams, exams. Luckily now they are all over. Not too confident on my final exam about methodologies, but the database one was a good one. Apart from that, I’ve been working on my project. This is a short lived entry since I havn’t had much sleep in the past week. A lot has been going on, and 2 good friends of mine have left for overseas today. One to Europe and then to America for 6 months of study, and the other to Europe for a month, but then I’ll be there for a month just as she leaves there. So a tight 3 weeks ahead and a lot to sort out still. I’ll be bringing a bit of camera gear with me, with the hope to grab some awesome photos. I’ll have an itinerary of sorts up closer to date.

Project is due out this week, and then school holidays are in – so it’ll give me some time to fix my code… those issues that are so natural to create, and are put off time and time again. I am still experiencing random crashes on the Win32 build of my application, but nothing ever goes wrong on my OSX build.

Since a few mates have left – I guess I need to start focusing more on work – and this blog! So, as I’ve said before, I hope to blog more, but I’m sure I will, since instead of venting to friends, I can vent here. I will hopefully go through my travel plans, and my travel gear. This is my first trip overseas, so I’m no regular backpacker, but I’m a keen one!
Tomorrow – Australia’s Next Top Model. A friend of mine has invited me to join her – to cheer me up. Not sure if photography is allowed, but I’ll bring in my little camera for that.

Since last time, I’ve handled the presentation. it wasn’t that bad once I was up there. It made it slightly easier that I actually knew what I was talking about. The week after (25/5) I had 2 assignments due that week, originally it was 3 and then one was pushed back a week. At the end of that week, Micheal Buble was on at the Entertainment Centre! Exciting stuff, since I had been looking forward to it for a while now. I managed to sneak in my camera and got quite a few good shots – NO PS!

Naturally 7 as the opening act.

The awesome band

A bit of Elvis

And some YMCA

Everyone got up close for some dancing

Some pretty sweet light displays

This week… has included many distractions at work away from my usual programming, which lead on to me working from home for a couple days. I also had to get another assignment due in on the friday done… and then today I had my first exam – Enterprise Development with the .NET Framework… We shall see how I went. I’ve been a bit worried about this subject since I just dont think 3 subjects and full time work gel together very well… I think 2 will do my just fine next semester…

Today started off with a flat tyre on the car. I pumped it up enough to drive to the auto repair place to get it repaired and they tell me they can’t since the screw is in the side of the tyre. So I get them to just mend it for the meanwhile, and I find myself at Bridgestone at Bondi Junction, who were able to change the tyres for me, but conveniently for them, they only had the most expensive tyres available for my wheels. But it had to be done, otherwise Id have a flat tyre right now.

This week, a deadline approaches, which I’m currently not too sure I’ll meet. Then the following week, I’ve got 2 exams on, but I’m comfortable with those two subjects.
